Conner and I just got home from a short trip to Utah to visit some Wisconsin homies in Salt Lake City. Not only did we find out that tarantulas live in SLC, but we had a good amount of fun in a short amount of time. Here are some pictures of shit we saw and did!
 |
First thing we did was get Culver's, not much else to say, but it was great. |
SICK boiler room bedroom in Alec's house, home to urban legend Forster Meeks.
 |
One of the days Alec took us up to this little hike called Donut Falls, where a little stream falls through some rocks into a cave, and then cascade's down the side of a mountain. It was pretty cool. |
 |
The trail was completely covered in snow, and a bit sketchy, but we're men, and we're American, so we didn't have a problem getting up. |

This is the outside of the little cave, you can see where the water falls in towards the top left. |
 |
and the inside! tons of tarantulas and bears in here! |
Right across the street from Alec's house are some steep foothills, and right in the middle of one is a big H painted on a rock (kind of like the Hollywood sign in Hollywood). It's a cool little trail, that you can walk right up to, with an awesome view of SLC and surrounding areas. There's also a big 12 painted on a rock next to the H, which I pissed down the front of, I'm pretty proud of that.

Here's the backside of the H rock. |
Classic fun. SLC was sick and I'm pretty sure I want to move there next year so I can finish school up and still ski a lot!
